What style of Yoga do you teach ?
I’m often asked what style of yoga do I teach and it got me thinking🤔
Hatha Yoga is what I learned throughout my teacher training with a touch on other styles.
I teach Hatha yoga with holding poses a little longer and recently slowed it down quiet a bit allowing room for breath and movement to work together.
When I really step back and look at my teaching I honestly believe I teach me. I teach my truth and from my heart 🙏🏻
I myself have been drawn to different practices at different times throughout my yoga journey and there’s nothing wrong with that. I think it is important to be in the practice that you need at that time.
Yoga Is so much more than just making shapes with our bodies and I really love that yoga is for everyone and most definitely not a ‘one size fits all’. And non discriminative.
The true meaning of the word ‘Yoga’ is union. It’s that deep connection to ones self, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
I love that I can be me on the mat and I love being able to share my yoga of love with my students 🙏🏻
